It shows detailed postal route information between Marseille, Augsburg, Warsaw and Naples. On both sides of the map explanatory indications of post routes, boat lines, etc. Text in Italian, German and French. Joined: Karte von Mittel-Europa zur Übersicht der Eisenbahnen und Dampfschiff-Fahrten, nebst Angabe der electrischen und optischen Telegraphen. Berlin, Dietrich Reimer, 1848, 60,5 x 67 cm, folded and mounted in publisher's board folder, 20,5 x 12 cm (sl. soiled, stain). Good copy. Title of the map : "Karte von Mittel Europa, zur Übersicht sämmtlicher Eisenbahnen, der Meer- und Binnen-Dampf-Schifffahrt (...)".
