2 parts in 1 vol., 4vo: [144], [26] ff. (light stain at top margin, some minor soiling).

Contemp. overl. vellum, flat spine (sl. warping). Good copy.

First edition of this chronicle by Wachtendorp who was a preacher in Deursen, Nieuwpoort, Breda & Gouda (died 1700). Verse chronicle of the medieval history of Holland, incl. long parts about the Burgundian rulers. Copy with the dedication to the Burgomasters of Amsterdam (other copies have one to the States General). Ill. with an engr. front. and 44 engr. ill.: 31 portraits of Counts of Holland and 13 various ill. (i.a. pastoral scenes, portrait of St Willibrord).
