Lot description
Albumen print, 27,5 x 39 cm, pasted on cardboard, printed captions (soiled, worn and torn edges).
This toll bridge was the first one built over the Rupel in 1853 by the company "Weduwe Van Enschodt N.V.". It linked Boom and Willebroek. In 1939 an alternative, modern "Boulevard Bridge" was inaugurated and the concession terminated.
