Woodcut, 45 x 31 cm, laid paper, gothic Latin text and 9 contemp. hand-coloured woodcuts (sm. min stains at edges, sm. crease at upper left corner).

Folio 198 from first Latin edition of the famous Nuremberg Chronicle, which includes woodcuts by Albrecht Dürer, Michael Wolgemut and Wilhelm Pleydenwurff. The large woodcut in the upper left corner depicts a witch on horseback with the devil.
