Engraving, 36,5 x 23,7 cm, contemp. hand-coloured (underlaid, borders reinforced, some sm. stains and creases).
Stuck by upper corners under passe-partout.
Title-page with orig. colouring to Gerard Mercator's Atlas Novus, published in Amsterdam in 1638. With pasted-over imprint over French version.
