Stuck by upper corners under passe-partout.

Complete set of 8 engr., representing the "Cycle of the vicissitudes of human life" in the third edition published by Johannes Galle. Regarding the title by J.B. Collaert: instead of the single state mentioned in Hollstein, this series has a rare second state with the same address of all other pl., namely "Ion. Galle excudit Antwerpiae". The others are: 2. Wealth brings forth pride by Karel van Mallery. - 3. Pride brings forth envy, anonymous. - 4. Envy brings forth war by Karel van Mallery. - 5. War brings forth poverty, anonymous. - 6.
