A lively drawing of a large cheering crowd welcoming a jockey. Jeanniot (1848-1934) was illustrator for the popular Parisian journals "La Vie moderne", "Rire" and "Journal Amusant". This drawing is probably a preparatory sketch for one of the journal illustrations.
