Lot description
Ôban yoko-e (horizontal), 22,2 x 34,5 cm, signed: Hiroshige-ga, publisher seal: Hoeidô, a gourd shaped red seal for subtitle: hakuu [sudden shower]. Two inscriptions on the umbrella at the lower right: "Takenouchi" i.e. family name of the publisher and "Gojûsan-tsugi" [53 stations] (trimmed, underlaid paper, wormholes on upper left and right corners as well as on left down corner plugged, partly damaged, raised fibres with ingrained dirt).
