13 parts in 1 vol., folio: [12]-27-[3] pp. (Brabant), [8]-72-[4] pp. (Leuven), [8]-36 pp. (Brussels), [4]-52-[4] pp. ("Gallo-Brabantiae"), [6]-46-[10] pp. (Antwerp), [8]-40-[8] pp. ("Taxandria"), 52 pp. (Breda), 80-[2] pp. (Namur), 14 pp. (Cambrai), 111-[17] pp. (Dendermonde), [4]-21-[3] pp. (Mons), 24 pp. (Mechelen), [4]-218-[16] pp. (Ghent & Bruges) (minor spotting and soiling).

Contemp. calf, gilt orn. spine with 6 raised bands, brown leather title label (rubbed, front joint rep., lower joint split, endpapers renewed). Good copy.

Large compilation of local histories in the Southern Netherlands by the Leuven historian Gramaye (1580-1635), including works by Lindanus (Dendermonde) and De Guyse (Mons). As usual the order of the various parts differs from copy to copy. Ill. with 10 engr. headpieces by Harrewijn among which views of Leuven, Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Bruges and Ypres. Titles in red and black. Text in 2 col.
