8vo: 2 parts, [8]-579-[69], [8]-477 (= 478)-[52] pp. (1st & last ff. soiled).

Cont. chamois, spine on 3 raised bands, red edges (rubbed, sl. loosening at centre of head, head- and tailbands def., flylvs gone). Good copy.

Very rare corrected and enlarged Paris repr. by Plantin’s son-in-law of the abridged Antwerp ed. (1564-1566) of Erasmus’ famous Adages, enlarged with similar collections by other humanists.
