1st edition of this treatise by the French cartographer and "premier géographe du roi" J.-B. d'Anville (1697-1782). Interesting work allowing to know all the ancient distance measurements and their corrrespondence: "le pied", "la coudée", "la lieue gauloise", "le mille romain", etc. Ref.
