French document on paper, bifolium, c. 18 x 11,5 cm, 2 1/2 pp. (traces of a pin, and of glue on p. 4).
In good condition.
R.F. Sully Prudhomme (1839-1907), French poet and essayist. He was the first winner of the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1901. Apology to a friend: “Mon cher ami ... je suis très confus de vous causer cet embarras ...”.
