Lot description
Two signed postcards, one autograph, one typed, to his publisher Reinhold Geheeb (München). In German, on both sides of the cards, with adress.
In good condition.
Hermann Hesse (Calw, Black Forest, 1877-1962 Montagnola, Ticino), German-born poet, novelist, and painter. Nobel Prize in Literature in 1946. To his publisher Dr Reinhold Geheeb, Albert Langen Verlag, München. 1. (13 December 1923) “... nach Montagnola komme ich wohl erst im Frühling zurück ... Es geht mir nicht gut ...”. 2. (1925?) “... Am 5. November soll ich eine Vorlesung in Augsburg halten, ich habe angenommen ... Mein Sohn ist wieder fort, es geht in meiner Bude wieder sehr still zu” - in November 1925 Hesse made a lecture tour in Southern Germany.
