Contemp. half green sheepskin, gilt-tooled flat spine, sprinkled top edge. Good copy.
Frontispiece reproducing a French 15th-c. woodcut representing a library. Title in red and black. First board of the printed cover preserved. Prov. Frédéric de Rolland (autograph dedication signed by the author as his cousin).
