8vo: 3/46 pp. (lacking half title, light dampstains).
Bound by Francis Bedford: black morocco, covers decorated with gilt fillets and fleurons in the angles, gilt decorated spine on raised bands, gilt edges (wears, most on spine).
Rare oratorio printed on silk. According to the Oxford University catalogue, various copies of this work were printed on silk. With the author's pseudonym, Crateo Pradalini (anagram of "cardinale Pietro"), at the dedication. Interfoliated copy with laid paper. Ottoboni (1667-1740), grand-nephew of Pope Alexander VIII, was pontifical chancellor and legate of Avignon. He is specially remembered as patron of music and art. Ref. www.treccani.it.
