Lot description
Red and black chalk, grey wash, c. 23,0 x 23,1 cm, laid paper with watermark (lion), ms. note in pen "inde kercke de trinita de monti a roma 1774" (few spots).
Loose in reused contemp. parchment (soiled).
Studies of compositions, religious scenes, sculptures, drapery, etc. Some made in the Trinità dei Monti in Rome.
Prov. Val-Dieu Abbey (bookplate).
