1. Florence 1802, from the dramatist and poet Count Vittorio Alfieri (1749-1803), the "founder of Italian tragedy", to Thomas Valpergo de Caluso (Lucca). - 2-3. Turin 1834 and 1839, from the Italian writer, poet, dramatist and patriot active in the Italian unification Silvio Pellico (1789-1854), to a Ms. L. Lemercier (Paris, 1834) and to the home teacher of Baron Snoy d’Oppuers (Brussels, 1839).
Joined: letter (1855) by the Italian author and politician Giuseppe Montanelli. (4 pcs)
