Contemp. sheep, richly gilt spines with raised bands, red edges (few min. defects to heads, tails and joints). Nice set.
First edition of this vast history and analysis of ecclesiastical writers, mostly focused on the early Church fathers, by the Benedictine monk Ceillier (1688-1761).
