Folio: 43 hinge-mounted pl., numbered 1 to 42bis, some borders hand-coloured (few spots, mostly marginal).
Contemp. half black shagreen, percaline boards, flat spine (some sm. stains on boards).
Second edition of Vandermaelen's homage to Ferraris, published shortly after the Belgian independence. With original Ferraris orthography ("Montenack" pl. 22) and with lithographed addition beyond the border of pl. 1. The atlas comprises: the "carte d'assemblage" with title and legend and 42 detailed maps, including the city plans of Brussels, Antwerp, Ghent, Namur, Mons and Liège.
