Black chalk, brown ink and wash, 23,9 x 32,8 cm, laid paper (sl. foxed, sm. tear on edge, traces of former mount on upper edge of verso).
Loose under passe-partout.
Interesting study sheet related to Jean-Jacques-François le Barbier's (1738-1826) painting from 1791 in Boston (Museum of Fine Arts, inv. 2022.101). On the verso a drawing of the death of Cato (?) in brown ink and red chalk and wash with an attribution to Nicolas Poussin.
