Very impressive and rare panorama caricaturing the French and foreign elite, members of the Jockey Club de Paris, going to the races of Longchamps by way of the Bois de Boulogne. This procession shows carriages with very realistic horses mostly drawn by Auguste Roubille, following the experiences of Muybridge, and early automobiles carrying some famous names from the high society of the time such as Leopold II of Belgium, Edward VII, Édouard de Rothschild, the Maharadjah of Kapurthala and his sons on a olifant, etc. personalities from the literary and artistic world such as Helleu, Sem himself (pseud. for Georges Goursat), Geneviève Lantelme, Colette, her husband Willy and her mistress, the Marquise Mathilde de Morny, etc. and businessmen and politics such as Henri Letellier, Clemenceau, etc. Most vehicles have a humorous printed name and most individuals are hand-identified with pencil.
