Lot description
Oval, c. 24 x 19 cm, painted on green tinted glass, lead strapping with suspension rings. Very good condition.
Nice decorative pieces. Coats of arms with mentions: "Joanus Backx. Anno MDIIXX [1518]", "Joan Molengraaff VIII-I-MDCVI", "R:D: Josephus van Rykel abbas obiit 1642". J. van Ryckel was abbot of Saint Gertrude's Abbey in Leuven
Joined: funerary hatchment with large coat of arms of family Fou(l)lé from Nivernais. [20th c.]. Oil on wooden panel, 34 x 34 cm. Wooden frame (1 side loose with small missing). (4 pcs)
