Very rare enl. 2nd edition (1st Strasbourg 1617) of a collection of abridged versions of Lipsius’ historical writings. Included here: De militia Romana, Poliorceticon, De amphitheatro, Admiranda, De cruce, De bibliothecis. The editorship is attributed to the German scholar Johann Joachim Rustorf (1589-1640). Three woodcuts in-text.
