Fair copy by a Leuven theologian of the first part of the commentary on Thomas Aquinas by Joannes Wiggers (Diest 1571-1639). Wiggers, a pupil of Jacobus Jansonius, obtained his theology doctorate in 1607. In 1611 he was appointed "Professor Regius" in the Leuven Faculty of Theology. He was a specialist of the writings of Thomas Aquinas and he strongly suported the views of Cornelius Jansenius.
