Oblong 8vo: 71 ff. (some marg. dampst. not affecting plates).
Contemp. sheep, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, sp. edges (joints split, some stains on boards, corners bumped).
Composite pocket atlas by the military engineer Beaulieu de Pontault (c. 1612-1674) who served Louis II de Bourbon-Condé, put together with parts of the series "Plans et profils", also known as the "Petits Beaulieu". Our copy consists of 4 engr. titles (of the parts on Aalst, Gelderland, Namur and Hainaut), 7 text ff., and 19 maps, 19 plans and 22 views (of which 28 from the part on Hainaut, 12 from Flanders, 6 from Namur, 5 from Artois, 4 from Aalst, 2 from Brabant, 2 from Limburg and 1 from Gelderland).
