Later ed. by Daumont, who received the privilege of Dheulland and Nolin, of this portable theatre-of-war atlas published for officers toward the end of the War of the Austrian Succession (1740-1748). Divided in 2 parts, the engr. title of the 1st part on the counties of Flanders, Hainaut and Artois is on the same sheet as the general map, followed by 14 particular maps numb. 2-15; the title of the 2nd part on the duchy of Brabant (titled "Carte nouvelle du Duché de Brabant [...]") is also on the same sheet as the general map (numb. 16), followed by 24 particular maps numb. 17-40.
