Folio: [10 incl. engr. title]-xiv-216-[4] pp.; 42 pl. (sm. tear in fold of pl. 19ter, occ. spotting or sl. soiling).
Contemp. marbled calf, gilt-orn. spine with raised bands, red edges (joints starting to split, boards rubbed, corners bumped).
First edition of this nice work, with engraved illustrations: title after Desrais, front. with the portrait of the king after Favane, both engr. by Patas, equestrian portrait of Condé by Moette after Godefroy, 2 headpieces, 2 ornamental initials, 2 tailpieces and 40 folding or double-page plates with sm. hand-col. details (borders and position of troops): 4 maps ("Hollande", "Haut & Bas Rhin", "Franche-Comté", "Pays-Bas catholiques") and 36 siege plans (numb. 1-32, with 10bis, 19bis, 19ter and one unnumb. pl. "Fort et château de Navagne dans le duché de Limbourg"). Placed in chronological order in order to follow the army of Condé from May to October 1674 in Hainaut province, Limburg and Flanders. Copy with subscriber's list, errata, "Avis au relieur" and the approbation and privilege leaf.
