3 vol., folio (shabby inside condition: foxing and spotting throughout, often extensive, marg. damp stains, some ff. age-toned or browned, large brown stain to some ff. in all vol., some holes in text, some ff. loose or loosening in vol. II, vol. II disblocked, etc.).
Contemp. limp vellum, ink-titled flat spines (spines browned with labels pasted on, these of vol. II-III detached, staining, ms. note on front pastedown).
Edited by the Spanish Jesuit Juan Luis de la Cerda (1560-1643). Illustrated with 3 identical engr. titles by L. Gaultier; occ. in-text woodcuts (one fig. a plan on p. 37 in vol. II).
