Hinged at upper edges. Under passe-partout.
1. Aurelia Franciae civitas ad ligerim flu. sita. [J. Sinniger, 1583]. (2 tiny spots along central fold, few tiny brown spots). Large bird's-eye plan of Orleans, along the Loire. - 2. Orleans. Bourges. [G. von Kempen, 1575]. (Tiny hole in lower left corner). At the top, a view on Orleans with its Cathedral, which was partially destroyed in 1568 by the Huguenots during the French Wars of Religion, prominently depicted in the middle. Underneath, a view on Bourges, in central France. From a Latin and French ed. of the "Civitates Orbis Terrarum" (text on verso, leaves 10 & 6).
