"Les frontières de France et des Pais Bas" is in fact only one large map (scale c. 1:75000) put on the market by de Fer as a portable atlas for the convenience of army officers. Depicting most of current Belgium from the mouth of the Scheldt to Turnhout in the north, De Panne to Philippeville in the south and the French territory from the Boulonnaise coast in the west to Charleville in the east. Ill. with an engr. title and 24 plates. Mixture of states with the table for assembling the maps. After de Fer's death, the copperplates were left to his sons in law. One of them, Benard, printed his part of the plates till 1743. Enriched with an engr. portrait of N. de Fer.
