First Latin ed. of a pioneer work on the seals of the Counts of Flanders by the Bruges lawyer, historian and poet Vredius (1596-1652). Engr. ill.: large circular seal on title, half-page map of Flanders, full-page genealogical tree and armorial plate plus some 300 seals in text.
