Engr., 33,2 x 46,8 cm, hand-coloured (sm. stain in lower marg. sl. affecting pl.).
Hinged at upper edge. Under passe-partout.
At the top, a bird's-eye view of Tunis, in the north of the continent. At the left, a view of the coastal city of Mahdia, at the right, the Spanish exclave of Peñón de Vélez, both in the midst of a fierce battle on sea and land. From the 1593 Latin "Civitates Orbis Terrarum" (text on verso, leaf 57).
