Brown ink, grey wash, 10,7 x 17,2 cm, laid paper, ms. note "Deux (soi disans) lapons vus a Annevoie le 18 fevrier / 1807" (foxed).
Underlaid. Mounted on paper.
Curious drawing of a boy with a sabre and a girl with bow and arrow, both with long hair. According to the inscription, these two Sámi figures were drawn from life in Annevoie. They might have been extraordinary guests at the castle in the province of Namur.
