Lot description
12mo, c. 19 x 11,5 cm: [82 + ?] ff., on paper, in English, French and Latin (with drawings and cuttings pasted on (some ff. torn out).
Contemp. boards (worn and loosening, some minor thumbing or soiling). In good condition.
Scrapbook with cuttings and copies of poems and prose texts in English, French and Latin (i.a. at the end a "macaronic" text), as well as a few drawings, collected by "W.A. Dawson M.A., Christ Coll., Cambridge", living at "11 Limerick Terr., Carlton Road, Kilburn". This "Alfred Dawson" is probably not to be identified with the late-Victorian artist Alfred Dawson (1843-1931).
