Daguerreotype, 14 x 11 cm (mat).
Single gilt mat in a damaged leather case.
A small piece of paper inside the case presumably identifies the people in the image: grandfather Rodney, Ms Laughlin, Abigail Annet Murray, uncle Guinness, Uncle Charles, and mother. No identification of the photographer.
