Lot description
Black ink, grey wash, white gouache, framing line in pencil, 23,9 x 35,0 cm, wove paper (J Whatman 1886), signed, ms. note "a réduire de moitié dans la longueur" (few creases on edges, marg. fold).
Beautiful design for an illustration with a vignette and a painter's tools at left, and a woman consulting the catalogue at an exhibition space at right.
