2 parts in 1 vol., 8vo: 412-[4], 426-[6] pp. (title part 1 sl. soiled with lower marg. underlaid, first ff. sl. soiled, clear dampst. in corners touching text in 1st part and begin. of 2nd part, occ. spotting).
Contemp. vellum, ink-titled flat spine, (later?) purple leather closing ties (discoloured, sm. part of closing tie missing, bookblock loosening).
Large collection of essays on a wide variety of subjects, often encyclopedic in nature, by the French humanist professor of rhetoric Jean Tixier de Ravisi (1480-1524), 1st publ. in 1520. Large printer's mark on titles.
Bound with, same author, place, ed. and year: Cornucopiae [...]. 79-[1] pp. (occ. spotting, ff. dd3-6 loose, last f. missing and replaced by ms. copy in an old hand). Large printer's mark on title.
