Lot description
Black ink and chalk, 38,1 x 47,4 cm, laid paper, drawing at top right pasted in, signed and titled (sl. foxed, few red and damp stains, tears on edges, some strengthened, sm. creases, flattened vert. folds).
Satirical drawing showing worshippers bringing chamber pots filled by nuns to the pope. With the annotations: "Pousse ma soeur...c'est pour la bonne cause" and "Les bénis...pousse toujours".
