Hinged or loose. Contemp. burgundy velvet, gilt central orn. with white and pink velvet (with title and monogram), framed by gilt metal fillet, gilt metal corner pieces on front cover, ivory silk fly leaves and paste-downs, a.e.g., gilt metal clasp (front cover and spine sl. rubbed, few fillets loose or missing, upper joints part. split).

Diverse collection incl. landscapes, seascapes, portraits of oriental figures a.o., views of castles, villages, botanical drawings, etc., by Mathilde Devens, Joseph Coomans, Eugène van Maldeghem, Charlotte Roze, Félicie (?) Putzeys, etc. Also 1 unid. ms. letter and ms. poems incl. 2 by Victor Lefêvre ("Esquisse poétique" and "Les plaintes de la Rose"), 1 by Eugène Stroobant ("Au retour du Printemps.
