Plaster with light brown patina, 27,5 x 22,9 cm (visible), signed "Rik Wouter[s]", titled "Rayon de soleil", stamp "Avec les hommages d'Edouard Taymans" (few scratches).
Sculpted frame.
Famous head study of Nel Duerinckx, the wife of the artist. Cast commissioned by the coal merchant Edouard Taymans.
