Cont. overl. vellum, flat spine titled in ink (sl. soiled, ties gone). Good copy.

Rare second Dutch trsl. (first 1629) of "Pia desideria" by H. Hugo (1588-1629). Nicely illustrated with 51 woodcuts: title, 1 coat-of-arms, 3 part-titles and 46 full-page emblems (mostly by Christoffel van Sichem after Boëtius à Bolswert).
