Mod. leather with remains of original blind-stamped calf pasted on, spine with raised bands (rubbed, front joint split, occ. damages).

Part I (complete in itself) of the first publication of Arnobius’ commentary on Psalms in the edition by Erasmus. Extensive dedicatory letter to Pope Adrianus VI, dated 1 August 1522 (Allen 1304). Elaborate woodcut title border (with i.a. "Imago vitae aulicae") and borders on a2r and b1r.
