First Gutenberg facsimile printed in the US and only the second in the world; derived from the Insel Verlag edition based on the copy in the Königlichen Bibliothek in Berlin. The text pages have been printed by lithography and the illuminated pages by sheet-fed gravure. Limited edition to 1.000 unnumbered sets of which 996 were for sale.
