Contemp. mottled sheep, gilt spine with raised bands and morocco label, red sp. edges (rubbed, rebacked with original spine pasted on).
Third Elzevier ed. of Descartes’ philosophical works, containing the Principia philosophiae, the Specimina philosophiae, and the Passiones animae. Woodcut mark on title and part titles. Numerous large and small woodcut diagrams.
