Black and white chalk, 42,7 x 30,5 cm, blue paper, ms. note in pen "Le Grand Duc de Mantoüe dessiné par Mr. Rigaud sur le tableau qu'il en a fait qui apartient a Mr. de Bury. Ce portrait n'a jamai êté Gravé" (few spots, flattened fold, sm. water stain on edge).

Hinged at upper edge.

Fine drawing after Rigaud's painting in Newport (Marble House, inv. PSNC. 9-871). A similar drawing is in a Paris private collection.
