Contemp. red Burgundy morocco decorated with mid 19th-c. large embossed and chiselled silver ornaments incl. borders, corners, two clasps and central oval cartouche with Virgin Mary and Child Jesus on upper board, St Vincent de Paul with two poor children on the lower board, punches "VK 9" and "K", gilt-orn. flat spine, a.e.g., six embroidered silk bookmarks (leather sl. rubbed). Nice copy.

Text on 2 col., printed in red and black, orn. with a chromolith. front. and many black in-text, printed liturgical music. The silver ornaments were made by H.J. van Kuijck in 's-Hertogenbosch (fl. 1837-1849) and dated 1844 (date letter "K").
