Etching, 40,3 x 61,4 cm, laid paper, signed "Gio. Batt. Piranesi Archit. F", address and Italian text (few very light brown discolorations, few spots, hole on platemark repaired, marg. flattened fold, marg. sl. foxed, sm. tear on edge).
Actually the ancient fire wall of the Forum of Augustus. With Piranesi's address (2nd state) and before the price was erased and numbers were added (5th state).
