Lot description
50 engravings, c. 22,9 x 16,2 cm, laid paper, title and 49 numb. pl., most signed, Latin, French and Dutch text (few sm. stains, few marg. sm. light water stains and spots).
Good impressions with wide margins. 19th-c. calf, gilt-orn. covers and spine, red label on front cover (spine to be restored).
Complete set of the large series designed by Abraham van Diepenbeeck (1596-1675) on the miraculous life of Mary Magdalen de' Pazzi (1566-1607), an Italian Carmelite nun and mystic who was canonized in 1669.
