Third state of this nice decorative carte-à-figures with 9 town views in the upper border (a.o. Tangers, Tunis, Alexandria, Mozambique) and 10 costumed African figures on the sides. Beautifully decorated with numerous Dutch ships and sea creatures. From a Dutch ed. of the "Theatrum orbis terrarum [...]" (leaf A, num. I).
