Nice set of scrolls combining texts from the Ethiopian Coptic Bible and magic spells. The prayers are written to protect a woman, Wolete Abye Egzie, and a man, Wolde Abraha, against demons, illnesses and falling in love by magic. The Classical Ethiopic text in black with holy names and words in red. Images include an archangel slaying a demon, seraphs and a hexagram.
